PROGRAM ASSISTANTS - GCHCC
is seeking two full-time summer students for the position of Program Assistant
for the period of May 8 to August 25, 2017.
Program Assistant duties include: summer program and event planning, promotion and delivery, guiding school tours, responsibility for summer tourism initiatives; planning, promotion and delivery of projects and programs related to Intangible Cultural Heritage (tasks related to artifacts and history/folklore); various museum tasks related to the collections including documentation, research and maintenance of exhibitions.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication and computer skills, creativity and initiative. Skills related to planning or specific job tasks are also additional assets. Students with education goals related to Education, Art, History and/or Marketing preferred.
A willingness to learn, plan and carry out projects from initiation to completion is essential.
Job Title: Program Assistant
Wage for each position: $13.50/hour
