With the positive feedback received from the Positive Ticketing Program last year, the Town of Shaunavon and local RCMP have decided to reinitiate Project Positivity in 2024!

A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR & COUNCIL “With the recent adoption of the 2024 Budget, we are proud to announce the approval of an operating budget of $5,854,178 and $1,067,501 in capital expenditures, with a net property tax levy requirement of $2,213,683.
The Town of Shaunavon will be pursuing efforts in managing gopher populations this spring to decrease negative impacts of gophers which includes land/property damage, disease transmission, and walking hazards. To accomplish this, Rozol (a grain-treated pesticide) will be placed in bait stations where gopher ingestion of the grain-fed pesticide will cause extermination a few days later.

Tepakohp/7 is a multi-artist exhibition which celebrates the stories and experiences of the many Nations of Indigenous Women living on this land we call Saskatchewan. The artists – Melanie Monique Rose, Stacey Fayant, Marcy Friesen, Larissa Kitchemonia, Donna the Strange, Brandy Jones, & Audie Murray - share their stories through their art to amplify, inspire and educate about the diverse relationships and transactions we have to this land and each other.
Bring some work gloves and a fun attitude! We are needing volunteers to help us clean up our parks and greenspaces around Shaunavon so our community can look beautiful and clean for all to enjoy! 10am block meet at the CPWC 6pm block meet at the Amphitheatre Materials will be provided when you show up!
