With the end of the year upon us, we would like to kindly remind residents who have not yet paid their 2024 utilities and taxes, that the deadline for payment of 2024 utilities and property taxes is swiftly approaching. Property Taxes and Utilities are due ON OR BEFORE Tuesday December 31st, 2024 BY 4PM and MUST be received IN OFFICE on or before this date.
The Town of Shaunavon would like to officially introduce two new staff members! Jennifer Holmberg began the role of full-time Office Clerk on May 26th, 2021, and Trudy Enns took over the full-time Finance Clerk position back in February. You may have had the pleasure to see their smiling faces at the Town Office or speak with them over the phone. We are delighted to have them be a part of the team!!
Holmberg is originally from Val Marie, and currently resides on an acreage on the Bench with her husband. Holmberg has a Certificate in Office Administration and has experience working in healthcare. She is excited to apply her knowledge in office admininstration and customer service in her new role. Holmberg’s role as Office Clerk entails reception duties such as receiving payments, answering phone calls from the public, and aiding the Finance Clerk with accounts receivable.
Enns was born in Ontario and moved across many locations in Canada while growing up. More recently, Enns was working in Regina, SK until 2020 where she decided to move to Shaunavon with her significant other. Enns has previous work experience in finance and is excited to build on her knowledge in this position. The Finance Clerk is responsible for the Town of Shaunavon’s accounts payable & receivable, the financial bookkeeping for the Fire Department, and providing any other finance related services for the Town of Shaunavon.
