Shaunavon & District Fire & Rescue is changing it up this Boomtown Christmas!! SDFR will be collecting donations for the Shaunavon Food Bank during the Parade of Lights. Acceptable Items: Non-Perishable Food, Personal Care Items, Cleaning Supplies, Laundry Supplies or Cash Donation. Gather your items, and give them to one of our firefighters walking during the parade and share the holiday spirit with those in need!
The Town of Shaunavon will be observing Remembrance Day on Thursday, November 11th, 2021 at The Shaunavon Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 40 wreath laying and service. There will be a march from the Legion Hall to the Memorial Park Cenotaph at 10:45am and the wreath laying ceremony will begin at 11am at the Cenotaph.
Remembrance Day is a day to honour and reflect on those who have served our beloved country. We are forever grateful for their courage and sacrifice in their fight for our country’s freedom.
The Town Office will be closed Thurs. Nov. 11 in honour of Remembrance Day, office hours will resume on Friday November 12th, 8am-4pm.
The CPWC will be open for limited hours only, from 2-9:30pm. (No Walking Progam will take place Thurs. Nov 11, 2021).
GARBAGE & RECYCLING PICK UP
- West Side Triways recycling will be picked up as usual on Thursday Nov. 11th.
- West Side Garbage will be picked up on FRIDAY Nov. 12th.
