The Town of Shaunavon is pleased to welcome Blaze Larson as our new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) in Training! Originally from Shaunavon, Blaze brings valuable knowledge of our community, along with a strong background in finance from his time at RBC and pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a Major in Management.
April 24-30th marks National Volunteer Week 2022.
The National Volunteer Week theme for 2022, Volunteering Is Empathy In Action, affirms the strong connection between volunteerism and empathy. This profoundly human connection is at the heart of healthier individuals and stronger communities.
National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate, recognize and thank volunteers, and to create awareness for the important work millions do across Canada!
The Town of Shaunavon would like to extend a huge, gracious THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who have helped make our community what it is! Whether it’s shovelling your neighbour’s walk, picking up the mail, checking on an elderly neighbour, or volunteering for a local service group - these acts of kindness are what makes us proud to call Shaunavon home!
