The Town of Shaunavon welcomes applications from qualified, motivated individuals to fill a fulltime position as the DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS.

The Director of Operations is an out-of-scope position with the Town of Shaunavon. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Operations will be responsible for the planning, organization, direction, and general management of the Operations department (Public Works, Parks and Facilities), including all assets, facilities, and the oversight of external engineering and applicable service contracts. The Director of Operations must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the Operations department and needs to be a team player who is good at dealing with the public, well organized and able to multi-task.

The Director of Operations is responsible for the Town of Shaunavon’s Operations department’s success; and will work closely with the Assistant Director of Operations to lead a team of dedicated employees to accomplish your departmental objectives and goals within provincial legislation and guidelines established by Town Council.
