NOTICE – PRECAUTIONARY DRINKING WATER ADVISORY IN EFFECT JULY 18 FOR TOWN OF SHAUNAVON

The Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory issued by the Water Security Agency is in effect starting July 18th, 2022. This applies to all residents and users of the Town of Shaunavon’s water distribution system.

This advisory is in place because the Hydrant Replacement Program currently being executed (as an effort to improve the water quality in Shaunavon and ensure public safety) requires depressurizing of the water main lines. This advisory is in effect until further notice, and will be lifted when water tests are deemed safe for human consumption.

Updates on the program’s progression will be provided on the Town of Shaunavon Facebook Page and Website. Visit Public Notice & Reports for full information.

Helix Construction and the Town of Shaunavon team are working closely together to execute this program in a timely and efficient manner.

If residents and business owners have any questions about the Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory, please contact the Saskatchewan Health Authority at (306) 778-5280.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding during this time.
