“You show up, you try to work as hard as you can, you try to do things the right way, prepare your mind, your body, and be a good teammate.” -Braydon Coburn, Ottawa Sun, January 5, 2021.
A banner honoring Stanley Cup Champion, Braydon Coburn, has been put up in the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Centre! The images show Braydon Coburn officially signing the banner and the new sign located on the edge of Shaunavon coming in on the Hwy 37. Two similar signs honouring Braydon will be installed in the near future on the Highway Number 1 near Gull Lake, with directions leading to Shaunavon. Also shown below is Riley Kornfeld presenting Braydon Coburn with a gift from the Wellness & Leisure Committee!
We are thankful for Braydon Coburn’s generous contributions to our community of Shaunavon and youth hockey through the Braydon Coburn Hockey School. In honour of Braydon Coburn’s career accomplishments and contributions to Shaunavon, August 8th has been declared as Braydon Coburn Day.
