Shaunavon & District Fire & Rescue is changing it up this Boomtown Christmas!! SDFR will be collecting donations for the Shaunavon Food Bank during the Parade of Lights. Acceptable Items: Non-Perishable Food, Personal Care Items, Cleaning Supplies, Laundry Supplies or Cash Donation. Gather your items, and give them to one of our firefighters walking during the parade and share the holiday spirit with those in need!
We are so proud of the members of the Shaunavon and District Fire & Rescue who participated in the FireFit Championship competition in Regina this past weekend.
Corey Gulaga, Riley Malone and Clayton Greenlay all represented Shaunavon at the competition and all three have qualified for Nationals.
Shaunavon and District Fire & Rescue came in 4th overall as a department in the competition.
Corey Gulaga placed 10th overall in the individual competition, which is a combination of both volunteer and career firefighters. Corey also won gold in the Chiefs category.
Corey Gulaga and Riley Malone took home gold in the Tech2 Relay challenge.
