2022 PROPERTY TAX & UTILITIES PAYMENT REMINDERS

Property Taxes and Utilities MUST be received IN OUR OFFICE ON OR BEFORE Friday, December 30, 2022 BY 4PM.

If you are mailing a cheque, paying by e-transfer or paying through your financial institution please allow 4-7 business days for processing payment.

*If payments are sent on December 30th, but not received in our office until January, they will be considered LATE*

If Property Tax Payment is not received by December 30th, there will be a 12% penalty added onto each unpaid tax amount on each tax account.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

1. Mail box at the back door of the Town Office

  • Cash/cheques can be left in the mail box during office hours (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm)
  • We will be checking the box regularly to ensure payment is received
  • Receipts will be issued by mail

2. Mail

  • We are still picking up our mail on a daily basis, so cheques/cash can be sent by mail (Box 820, Shaunavon SK, S0N 2M0)
  • Receipts will be issued by mail

3. Online Banking

  • Both tax and utility payments can be made through online banking. Simply add the Town of Shaunavon as a bill payee, and enter in your utility account number, or roll number.
  • Allow 3-5 business days for processing
  • Receipts will be issued by mail

4. E-Transfer

  • Money transfers can be sent to shaunavon@sasktel.net.
  • **Please include a memo/description indicating the reason of e-transfer AND your utility account number or roll number. (i.e., “Property Taxes - Account No. ____”)
  • E-transfers are auto-deposit.
  • Receipts will be issued by mail.

5. In Person

  • Visit the Town Office at 401 3rd St. W. during office hours (Monday to Friday from 8am – 4pm).
  • Debit, Cash & Cheque are accepted

** Please note that we do not accept credit cards.
