Join us as we celebrate Archives Week in Saskatchewan - February 5 to 11, 2023!

COFFEE CHAT:

We’re kicking off the celebrations with Coffee Chat on Friday, February 3 from 10: to 11: am in the Grand Coteau Centre Gallery. Enjoy a sneak peek at our Archives Week Gallery Exhibition “The Lost Art of Cursive Writing” and bring along your own items to show and share. See the poster for all the details.

WORKSHOP: A Beginners Guide to Modern Calligraphy

Tuesday, February 7, 2023 - 6:30 p.m.

Cost: FREE – An Archives Week & Me Time Shaunavon Event

At this relaxing calligraphy class - instructed by Tammy Willman, GCHCC Program Coordinator - you’ll learn about the key tools, materials, and skills needed to create beautiful hand lettering - then have time to practice the modern calligraphy style. Zero experience needed. Registration required - see the poster for all of the details

Shaunavon & District Fire & Rescue is changing it up this Boomtown Christmas!! SDFR will be collecting donations for the Shaunavon Food Bank during the Parade of Lights. Acceptable Items: Non-Perishable Food, Personal Care Items, Cleaning Supplies, Laundry Supplies or Cash Donation. Gather your items, and give them to one of our firefighters walking during the parade and share the holiday spirit with those in need!
