Mayor Kyle Bennett would like to share a message with the community!

“The Town is preparing for a busy spring and summer with ample projects and programs planned. We are very excited to welcome visitors to Shaunavon as the summer tourism season picks up in the coming months! […] I am proud of the constant hard work put in by our team and by Council as we progress through each season. The Town of Shaunavon is pleased to announce that the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Centre will now be renamed the Veren Wickenheiser Centre, reflecting the recent name change of Crescent Point Energy Corp. to Veren Inc. The multi-use recreational facility, which has been a cornerstone for numerous community activities in Shaunavon, will feature updated signage reflecting the new name in the future.

We are thrilled to announce that the Town of Shaunavon has successfully been awarded up to $22,603.00 from SGI’s Provincial Traffic Safety Fund Grant to assist with the cost of purchasing additional flashing crosswalk signs to install in Shaunavon school zones! Currently, each of Shaunavon’s school zones is equipped with one set of solar light up crosswalk signs.
