BOOMTOWN DAYS 2023 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

We are fortunate to have our charming Town of Shaunavon amidst the tremendous beauty of Southwest Saskatchewan! Meet at the Randy Surjik Memorial Amphitheater at 6:30 pm.

The Town of Shaunavon is pleased to welcome Blaze Larson as our new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) in Training! Originally from Shaunavon, Blaze brings valuable knowledge of our community, along with a strong background in finance from his time at RBC and pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with a Major in Management.

The 2025 consolidated operating and capital budget was adopted by Shaunavon Council members at a Special Budget Council Meeting on April 2, 2025. The Town of Shaunavon, alongside the RMs of Arlington, Grassy Creek, and Bone Creek, is pleased to announce that the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has approved the implementation of Point of Care Testing (POCT) equipment at the Shaunavon Hospital. Our Councils have been actively working with SHA to address service disruptions in Shaunavon’s Emergency Department caused by temporary lab staff shortages.

The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre is seeking two full-time summer students for the positions of Program Assistant and Museum Assistant for the period of May 5 to August 22, 2025 (Can be adjusted to accommodate student availability) Program Assistant duties include: planning, promotion and delivery of summer programs for youth and adults and community events; assisting with planning and delivering school programs; responsibility for summer tourism initiatives.

SPRING REGISTRATION NIGHT is approaching!! Pop down to the VWC on Monday March 24th at 6:30-7:30pm to register for programs and learn what local groups are up to!!
