The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre is seeking two full-time summer students for the positions of Program Assistant and Museum Assistant for the period of May 1 to August 20, 2024 (Can be adjusted to accommodate student availability)
Program Assistant duties include: planning, promotion and delivery of summer programs for youth and adults and community events; assisting with planning and delivering school programs; responsibility for summer tourism initiatives.
Museum Assistant duties include: internal and external research, heritage related program development, exhibit maintenance and development, creating social media and website content, and collecting oral histories; assisting with planning and delivery of public programming, community events, and tourism initiatives.
Successful candidates will have above average communication and computer skills, creativity and initiative. Skills related to planning or specific job tasks are also additional assets. Students with education goals related to Education, Art, History and/or Marketing preferred.
A willingness to learn, plan and carry out projects from initiation to completion is essential.

Wage for each position: Minimum $15.59/hour
