Returning Officer Laturnus has declared the results of the municipal election for the position of: Mayor (1) Councillor (6) By way of vote, the following has been declared for Mayor for the Town of Shaunavon:

Shaunavon’s new council will be effective on November 19, 2024, which is the first Council meeting after the proposed Saskatchewan Municipal Election date of November 13, 2024.

The Town of Shaunavon, alongside the RMs of Arlington, Grassy Creek, and Bone Creek, is pleased to announce that the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has approved the implementation of Point of Care Testing (POCT) equipment at the Shaunavon Hospital. Our Councils have been actively working with SHA to address service disruptions in Shaunavon’s Emergency Department caused by temporary lab staff shortages.

The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre is seeking two full-time summer students for the positions of Program Assistant and Museum Assistant for the period of May 5 to August 22, 2025 (Can be adjusted to accommodate student availability) Program Assistant duties include: planning, promotion and delivery of summer programs for youth and adults and community events; assisting with planning and delivering school programs; responsibility for summer tourism initiatives.
