Shaunavon, are you ready to rise to the challenge? Town of Shaunavon is taking part for our 2nd year in the Healthy Rivalry: the Swift Current Vs Shaunavon Challenge! This program, spearheaded by the City of Swift Current, is taking place from January 20th to February 16th, it’s all about embracing new habits and earning wellness points in areas like nutrition, exercise, sleep, hydration, and mental health.

Grab your friends and family, lace up those skates and join the Shaunavon Senior Badgers and Special Christmas Guests for a festive evening on the ice! Friday December 20th from 5:30-6:30pm at the CPWC! Everyone is welcome, and its completely FREE! (Christmas music will be on repeat!!) Stick around after skating to cheer on the Senior Badgers as they take on the Gull Lake Greyhounds.

It’s here folks! The Boomtown Christmas schedule for Saturday December 7th, 2024!! Fun is planned for the whole family. Check out the Shaunavon Library & Grand Coteau, Shop at local businesses, eat delicious food, sip warm drinks, and enjoy the magic of the Parade of Lights, bonfires and fireworks!

It’s that time of year - to spread HOLIDAY CHEER!! Register your decorated house/yard to be part of this year’s TWINKLE TOUR where you could WIN one of the following titles: Merry & Bright A Disney Delight Holiday Traditions Twinkle Tour will be on Dec 17th, Judging will be by public VOTE!

Shaunavon & District Fire & Rescue is changing it up this Boomtown Christmas!! SDFR will be collecting donations for the Shaunavon Food Bank during the Parade of Lights. Acceptable Items: Non-Perishable Food, Personal Care Items, Cleaning Supplies, Laundry Supplies or Cash Donation. Gather your items, and give them to one of our firefighters walking during the parade and share the holiday spirit with those in need!
