Phase 4.2 of Re-Open Saskatchewan Announced for June 29th, 2020

Published on: Jun 24, 2020
The Government of Saskatchewan announced Monday, June 29th as the date for Phase 4.2 of Re-Opening Saskatchewan.

Phase 4.2 includes the reopening of museums and galleries. The Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Centre's reopen date is TBA as they work hard to finalize plans for their Re-opening. Give them a follow on facebook for updates, including some great programming they've announced for the summer!

Effective June 26th, the shower facility at Shawnee Campground at Memorial Park will re-open.

Revisions have been made to the Outdoor Sports and Activities Guidelines, allowing games that can maintain physical distancing to resume. https://bit.ly/3fVdBUF
We ask that all sports groups review these guidelines and restrictions. We also ask that sports players remain patient as plans are built around these guidelines will take time.

Right now Shaunavon Wellness & Leisure is pushing hard to get Shaunavon Swimming Pool open for July 1st, and working on some great summer activities.
**Please note that due to COVID restrictions, there will not be any swimming lessons scheduled for July. They will revisit the possibility for August, and provide an update later this month**

We encourage you to review the most up-to-date version of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan at: http://www.saskatchewan.ca/re-open

And thank you to everyone for your patience as we plan and implement guidelines to keep you and our community safe!
