Tepakohp/7 is a multi-artist exhibition which celebrates the stories and experiences of the many Nations of Indigenous Women living on this land we call Saskatchewan. The artists – Melanie Monique Rose, Stacey Fayant, Marcy Friesen, Larissa Kitchemonia, Donna the Strange, Brandy Jones, & Audie Murray - share their stories through their art to amplify, inspire and educate about the diverse relationships and transactions we have to this land and each other.

REGISTRATION OPENS TONIGHT (March 20) for this summer’s iIMAGINE Arts Camp The iIMAGINE ARTS CAMP Registration Form is available online at www.shaunavon.com/gchcc , and there will be copies available tonight at the CPWC. **There are limited spots available, so register early to avoid disappointment! Registration forms may also be emailed and payment made by e-transfer for those who are unable to make it to Registration Night (see the Registration Form for details).

Sunshine and warmer weather has us thinking of SPRING! You know what that means? The Town of Shaunavon’s annual FREE GARBAGE TRANSFER WEEKEND for Shaunavon residents is coming up! Mark your calendars for May 24, 25, 26th and save some trips to the landfill during your spring cleanup and dispose of items for FREE!

Through funding made possible by Saskatchewan Seniors Mechanism, the Town of Shaunavon has entered into an agreement to be a pilot initiative for Social Prescribing for Older Adults. This 3.5 year initiative will include the hiring of a half-time (20 hours/week) contract position to implement social prescribing for older adults in the community.
