Shaunavon Mayor Kyle Bennett would like to share a message with the community, read the full message in the image below. FROM THE DESK OF THE MAYOR; “With the seasons and temperatures changing, we are shifting gears on projects and preparing for cooler weather ahead. We are also thinking back to a great summer with many memories and successful projects we’ve had in Shaunavon over these past few months!

Newline Technology is relining sewer mains in Shaunavon to continue improving Shaunavon’s infrastructure. The contracted company is currently replacing the sewer main on the crescent at 5th street west (BLUE on the map - Wednesday October 11th) and will be replacing the main in the back alley between 4th and 5th Street East between 3rd Ave and 5th Ave (GREEN on the map - Thursday October 12th).

We are notifying residents that the quarterly utility notices have been sent out. PLEASE NOTE: Utility accounts showing a value from the previous billing period in the “Balance Forward” column have received a 4.5% interest charge owing. REMINDER: Any unpaid amounts as of December 29, 2023 will be charged 4.5% interest, and after January 1st, 2024 the unpaid amount will be added to your taxes as arrears and subject to 12% interest.

The Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre is now accepting registrations for their 2023 Holiday Art Show & Sale which will be held in our Gallery from November 16 to December 20. This event is open to all local professional and emerging artists who wish to display and sell their work at one of Southwest Saskatchewan’s premiere art galleries.
