Join us as we celebrate Archives Week in Saskatchewan - February 5 to 11, 2023! COFFEE CHAT: We’re kicking off the celebrations with Coffee Chat on Friday, February 3 from 10: to 11: am in the Grand Coteau Centre Gallery. Enjoy a sneak peek at our Archives Week Gallery Exhibition “The Lost Art of Cursive Writing” and bring along your own items to show and share.

The Town of Shaunavon will be having a grader come in to assist with snow removal on the evening of Sunday January 29th, 2023. Grading the streets helps to remove the packed snow and ice that accumulates over the winter. Removing this build up of snow helps with drainage as it keeps the storm drains clear and reduces the amount of runoff on our streets in the spring time.

Southwest Regional Emergency Measures Organization THE OPPORTUNITY: The Southwest Regional EMO is searching for a qualified and motivated individual who prioritizes safety and emergency response by providing leadership on resilience, emergency planning and regional coordination with the member partners. This individual will act as a “Regional Resilience Specialist” (aka Regional Emergency Measures Coordinator) and is responsible for overseeing, in partnership with the regional members, the process, development, delivery and evaluation of a resilience and emergency plan.

MISCHIEF AT THE CPWC

A member of the community has reported mischief that has occurred at the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Centre today (Wednesday January 18th) over the noon hour (between 12pm and 1pm). During this particular instance, young adolescents have littered candy in the public washrooms located in the downstairs lobby of the CPWC.
