Did you know that we begin accepting payments for property taxes in January for the current year? The 2023 tax notices will not be mailed until the assessment for the year has been established and the mill rate set. Discounts are based off of 2022’s tax levy as 2023 taxes will not be levied until at least April.

The Jr. NBA Basketball Program is back in Shaunavon this season! Registration is OPEN and closes on Feb. 19th. Visit http://www.skybasketball.ca/skybasketball/PlayerRegistration to register your child. Practices will begin the week of Feb 27, 2023. Dates and times to be announced, we will be sure to share this information as soon as it has been decided.
The Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF), formally known as the Federal Gas Tax Fund program, is a permanent source of funding provided to provinces and territories, who in turn flow this funding to their municipalities to support local infrastructure priorities. In 2022, the Town of Shaunavon used $296,545.84 of its Canada Community-Building Fund allocation for road improvement projects which included recap paving in nine locations with asphalt for approximately 11,633 sq m and Slurry Seal an additional 20,903 sq m.
In an effort to conserve paper, the Shaunavon Badgers U9 and U7 have created a QR code that attendees may scan to view the program digitally. The QR code will take you to the Wellness & Leisure page of the Town of Shaunavon website where you can download the tournament program for the upcoming tournament.
