From the Desk of the Mayor; It appears summer quickly turned into fall, with winter following not far behind. As the joyous feelings of the Holidays set in, we would like to reflect on the past 6 months of progress at the Town of Shaunavon! The Town of Shaunavon is developing its 2023-2028 Strategic Plan to establish new goals based on the voiced opinions from community members and priorities laid out by Council.

The Town of Shaunavon is proud to recognize the following Shaunavon residents who were awarded The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Saskatchewan) on Friday December 9th, 2022 at a ceremony in Maple Creek! The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal was created to celebrate the 70th anniversary year of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Accession to the Throne, which began on February 6, 2022.
We would like to kindly remind residents that the deadline for payment of 2022 utilities and property taxes is swiftly approaching. Property Taxes and Utilities are due ON OR BEFORE December 30, 2022 BY 4PM. Please ensure that payments MUST be received IN OUR OFFICE on or before this day.

That technological advance was the creation of the strongest fusion magnet in the world.
