You may have noticed a number of properties with new sidewalks around Shaunavon! These property owners are helping to further invest in our community with the assistance of the Town of Shaunavon by taking part in the 50-50 Sidewalk Program. The Shaunavon 50-50 Sidewalk Program was created to help promote safety and infrastructure renewal in the Town of Shaunavon, by providing property owners with assistance in paying for the half the costs of replacing deteriorated sidewalks.

Thank you to all participants who completed the Shaunavon Community Survey! Results from this survey will contribute towards understanding the needs and concerns put forth by our community members which help us create attainable & priority goals for the Town’s upcoming 5-year Strategic Plan (2023-2028). We value the opinion of our community members and believe it is important your voices are heard.

Embark on a scavenger hunt around Shaunavon with a group or on your own for a hauntingly fun activity! Pick up your Spooky Sheet at Berg’s Home Furnishings and complete the Scavenger hunt any day from Oct 27 - 31st (refer to Berg’s FB page for their hours of operation). There will also be treats available for participants thanks to Family Eats SK and Hautecakes.

A contractor hired by the Town of Shaunavon is in the process of applying pesticides on the Town of Shaunavon parks & green spaces. Herbicides (weed killers) are pesticides designed to control undesirable plants. Fall is the best time to fight weeds and get ahead of weed control for the following spring.

The Shaunavon Virtual Job Fair is quickly approaching! Register for the event taking place on October 19th, from 9:00am to 3:00pm!
