The mosquito “fogging” program that was implemented in 2020 & 2021 for the control of adult mosquitos, will continue again this year (2022). “Fogging” will occur between the hours of ‘dusk to dawn’ either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings (depending on weather conditions) • “Fogging” will commence Wednesday June 22nd between 4:30 am and 7:00 am (weather permitting)

Ministry of Environment - Conservation Officers Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Crude Oil Dumped in Shaunavon Sewage Lagoon. On June 13, 2022, Shaunavon Conservation Officers became aware that crude oil was dumped into the Town of Shaunavon’s domestic wastewater holding cell (sewage lagoon). Conservation Officers investigated and found that a large amount of crude oil was discharged into the sewage lagoon.

Photo by Andy Cox. Kyle Stevenson was installed as the new Provincial President of the Elks this past weekend. The Elks are held their 93rd Annual Convention in the community over the weekend. The Convention was held from Thursday to Sunday morning and welcomed about 50 delegates. The group meets to discuss a wide range of topics from changes to bylaws to some of the organization’s fundraising projects.
