The Town of Shaunavon welcomes applications from qualified, motivated individuals to fill a fulltime position as the DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS. The Director of Operations is an out-of-scope position with the Town of Shaunavon. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Operations will be responsible for the planning, organization, direction, and general management of the Operations department (Public Works, Parks and Facilities), including all assets, facilities, and the oversight of external engineering and applicable service contracts.

The Shaunavon Swimming Pool is scheduled to open JUNE 1ST. Visit the Wellness & Leisure Page for Swimming Pool Schedules, Registration, Fees and Policies. We have received some generous sponsorship for the 2nd year running the Friends of Shaunavon Swimming Pool Program. The incentive of the program is to provide families or individuals in need within our community the opportunity to access the local swimming pool.

This project cost a total of $113,813.
We are looking for volunteers to help us clean up our community green spaces, such as the parks, walking trails, campgrounds and any other places that need a good clean-up! The clean-up will take place on Tuesday, May 31st, beginning at two different times throughout the day: The morning clean-up will begin at the CPWC at 10:00 am The evening clean-up will begin at the Randy Surjik Memorial Amphitheater at 5:00 pm.
