Shaunavon Access Communications recently launched HyperSpeed 450 services, increasing the speed of Shaunavon’s download speeds by almost 50 times. The projects are funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Universal Broadband Fund. This internet update is highly beneficial to the community as the population relies heavily on high-speed internet for various aspects including business and education.

The Jr. NBA Basketball Program is back in Shaunavon this season! The initiation of a voluntary Life Safety Fire Awareness Program in the Town of Shaunavon has been approved by the Town of Shaunavon and the Shaunavon and District Fire and Rescue and is currently in effect. The Life Safety Fire Awareness Program is voluntary for commercial and industrial assessed property owners within the Town of Shaunavon to utilize under their own discretion.
