Today, the Town of Shaunavon’s flags have been lowered to half-mast to recognize the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. December 6th was designated The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women following the murder of 14 young women at Polytechnique Montréal on this day in 1989.

PEDESTRIAN SAFETY

The safety of residents and visitors in Shaunavon is one of our top priorities. We continuously strive to make Shaunavon a safe place to live for people of all ages. The addition of Pedestrian Crosswalk Lights in high-traffic areas is one of the ways we are able to help protect pedestrians while crossing the street!

The Saskatchewan Health Authority will be holding the following COVID-19 and Flu vaccine clinics in Shaunavon and surrounding areas: SHAUNAVON - Vaccine/Flu Public Health Wing Walk-In November 29th 1:00PM - 3:00PM SHAUNAVON - Ages 5-11 Public Health Wing Booked Vaccine Clinic November 29th 3:00PM - 6:00PM *No appointment necessary for Walk-Ins — First come, first served.
