All windows were replaced on the main floor of the Town Hall building this past August 2021, for a total of 12 new window installations. Until this project, the windows were the originals from when the Town Hall was built in 1926, making them 95 years old! A grant was received from the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation to cover some of the costs, with a requirement to maintain the historical appearance of the building.

The Town of Shaunavon would like to officially introduce two new staff members! Jennifer Holmberg began the role of full-time Office Clerk on May 26th, 2021, and Trudy Enns took over the full-time Finance Clerk position back in February. You may have had the pleasure to see their smiling faces at the Town Office or speak with them over the phone.
We are excited to release the Regional Business Directory. The communities of Climax, Eastend, Frontier and Shaunavon have created a collaborative online directory where people can find a list of all operating businesses who hold valid resident business license within each respective municipality. The intent in creating the regional business directory is to promote utilizing local businesses and to provide residents throughout the area with information on businesses that operate throughout the region.
The Town of Shaunavon would like to say good luck to Hannah Lingenfelter as she returns back to the University of Saskatchewan in person. Hannah will be resuming her studies towards her Bachelor of Education. Hannah joined us in April as the Communications Officer and did a great job promoting and informing local happenings to our residents throughout her time here.
With summer coming to an end, we are sad to be saying farewell to our summer students. We would like to thank them for all of the great work they have done over the summer for the Town of Shaunavon and wish them the best in their future endeavours! Shaunavon Swimming Pool Staff:
