QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident. Permanent Resident ‐ Starting from the date you received permanent resident status ‐ must have resided (been physically present) in Canada for 3 (1,095 days) out of the last 5 years as a permanent resident.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Proficient in English and/or French
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s licence
- High school diploma (Canadian) or equivalent
- Meet health & psychological standards
- Meet requirements before applying for vision, hearing & physical abilities
- Willing to relocate

KEY FACTS:
- You will receive an allowance during your 26‐week training.
- Cadet recruitment allowance is $525/week.

- 24 months service: $99,988
- 36 months service: $106,576
- 25 years service: full pension
- Pension plan 20 years service: retirement with penalty
- 25 years service: full pension
- 35 years service: maximum pension
